Working with light has been a passion of ours since the beginning of our professional careers.

We have spent many years in the design of lighting arrangements for theatre and film productions at home and abroad.

The Master’s program in Lighting Design has been a crucial enabler for both of us in that it brought us closer to issues such as architecture, design, perception and lighting technology.

Michael Tschager spent 5 years working with the company Bartenbach in the area of technical development and has managed a broad range of international projects.
Thomas Welz also worked for the same company in the area of lighting design and later took on lighting design and sales duties with the company Egger Licht.

Our longstanding friendship and shared interest and passion for the work with light, people and spaces has brought about our project LITEstudio.
